Rotary Parlor - Parallel Bukovec
New construction of the rotary parlor with 40 milking stalls in parallel arrangement on the farm for 800 dairy cows. Milking takes place outside the circle, the throughput of this parlor is over 200 cows per hour. Automatic cow pusher in the holding area helps to move cows to milking stalls. The automatic cow selecting gate is placed at the exit alley from the parlor. The milking equipment is controlled by a herd management program FARMSOFT. The milk is cooled down in a two-stage pre-cooler and stored in an outdoor cooling tower (30,000 l at a temperature of 4 °C). The cooling system is complemented by a recuperation system providing heat recovery.
