Farm For Fattening Pigs - Velký Karlov
Complete reconstruction of five halls, each for 750 pigs and a construction of two new halls for 600 pigs. The farm is not only used for production, but also for testing new construction and technological solutions. During a longer period the results of dry and liquid feeding will be compared here. A washing robot will ensure physical and time savings. Another important element of farm automation is a climate control system using a climate computer. The slurry management has been completely reconstructed and slurry cooling technology has been newly installed to reduce emissions of ammonia and odorous substances. The new prefabricated slurry pit with a capacity of 6400m3 has been built as well.
